A Better Billie Eilish
I made this painting to redeem myself for the drawing I posted of Billie Eilish the other day. It wasn't the worst drawing I had done but to be honest I posted it thinking no one would see it and I could just post it to my blog all secret, but that's not the case. My few subscribers were alerted and they saw it, Thank you for all of your kind comments. But I couldn't live with anyone thinking that was my honest effortful attempt at portraying the likeness of Billie Eilish. This video, along with the last one is part of a series of blog posts I'm doing concerning "bad art". Most of these posts will be under #mybadart to discuss the way that artists portray their work online.

FINISHED SKETCHBOOK 2018
Hello everyone! Today's video is a flip-through of a sketchbook I have had for a very long time. I have been slowly filling it since 2015. There is a wide range of ability in the sketches included because of this. That is why I went from back to front that way it is in reverse chronological order, to include better pages in the beginning. This sketchbook itself is very poor quality, I purchased it from Walmart for a class when I was a freshman in college and didn't know better, as a result there are a lot of pages and pieces pasted in from other, better quality sketchbooks that I have. I kind of just skip over everything pretty quickly because there's a lot to cover so if you have a question about anything just ask me in the comments down below. Thanks for watching :) p.s. there's also a small heart shaped valentine I showed at 4:42, someone anonymously sent that to my dorm room 3 years ago and I never found out who it was, pls reveal yourself. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Music (in order of appearance) Red Berry - Silent Partner https://youtu.be/PkwpwTI0lNk Tucson - Silent Partner https://youtu.be/tBDni_f4aZQ The Woods - Silent Partner https://youtu.be/dU5bvAeHgc0

Midterm Week/Snow Day Vlog
Sorry that everything I do is so ridiculously late but I haven't had a lot of time to make art at school outside of my coursework so I thought I would try and vlog for my midterms week. This probably isn't something I'm going to do all the time but still had fun doing, and I hope you all enjoy :) ~~~~~~~ Music Song: Fredji - Happy Life (Vlog No Copyright Music) Music provided by Vlog No Copyright Music. Making a Mess
As you can tell from this video I pretty much did whatever I wanted without caring how it turned out. It resulted in some pretty horrible looking stuff to somethings that aren’t terrible, but overall it wasn’t anything great to look at. BUT THAT’S OKAY. That was part of my reasoning for filming and posting this, to remind everyone that nobody creates finished products all the time. There needs to be garbage sketchbooks and quick 5-minute paintings in order to learn to let loose. It was also because as you could see I had very limited materials because I was home for the weekend. I managed to bring paint but forgot real drawing pencils and only grabbed 2 paintbrushes. I encourage you to try something quick and simple without caring how it turns out as well. I hope you enjoyed and thank you so much for watching 😊 Materials: Liquitex Basics 48 acrylic color set 2 old acrylic brushes 6 5” x 7” panels A bunch of old gross pencils and 1 pen I found Music: Birdy by KV https://soundcloud.com/kvmusicprod Creative Commons — Attribution 3.0 Unported — CC BY 3.0 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/b... Finishing An Oil Painting // Large-Scale
This is a painting that was an assignment for class this past fall and i struggled a lot while painting it. Since then I've returned to it several times and changed things and I've finally reached a point where I'm happy with it. The dimensions are 36" x 48" and my reference was a photo of my desk drawer. I hope you enjoy ☼ Music : Running by Dj Quads https://soundcloud.com/aka-dj-quads Music promoted by Audio Library https://youtu.be/BdOoZMsytuc

Practicing Gouache // Portraits
In this video I wanted to continue to practice with gouache paints by attempting portraits. I will say I learned a lot, number one being that you can't really blend the way I'm used to with other media. I feel like gouache really works well on landscapes ans things like that, so that's probably what I will try next! Also I will note that I'm starting to notice the quality restriction with these paints because the streakiness became quite evident, that also could've been because of my attempt at "blending" though. I hope you enjoyed ☼ ~~~~~~~~~ Materials: A variety of graphite pencils regular eraser kneaded eraser masking tape Reeves gouache set Canson artist series cream drawing sketchbook Pentel Aquash brush pen ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Photo References: Photo by Autumn Goodman on Unsplash Anastasiya Gepp on Pixabay ~~~~~~~~ Music: Good Vibes by Dj Quads https://soundcloud.com/aka-dj-quads Music promoted by Audio Library https://youtu.be/FQrKSf-Nk-Q Rock Angel by Joakim Karud https://soundcloud.com/joakimkarud Creative Commons — Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported— CC BY-SA 3.0 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/b...
